Herman Wold gold medal
The 17th Herman Wold gold medal will be presented to an individual who has contributed significantly to the development and proliferation of Chemometrics, including its synonyms, Machine Learning, and Multivariate Data Analysis for data-driven approaches in research, development and production, with the work done in the spirit of Herman Wold. This prestigious award was established in 1995 to honor individuals who have made an important impact in the field of Chemometrics.
This is an open nomination procedure. We encourage you to nominate individuals, excluding yourself, who you believe have contributed significantly to the field of Chemometrics. The nominator should send a nomination letter including motivation, a summary of the nominee’s achievements and curriculum vitae. In addition, the nomination should include a letter of support from at least one other person with expertise in the field. There are no restrictions of nationality or professional affiliation.
The deadline for the 2025 award nomination submissions is updated to April 22, 2025, 23:59 CET.

The winner will be chosen by the board of the Chemometrics Division, Swedish Chemical Society, listed below. The awardee will receive a Herman Wold medal in gold and a diploma certificate. The 17th Herman Wold gold medal will be awarded during the Scandinavian Symposium on Chemometrics conference (SSC 2025) in Keflavík, Iceland 15-18 June 2025, https://ssc2025.org/.
